Stylish e-scooter with long range: the Merlin X4 from Micro The handling of the Merlin is absolutely ergonomic. Instead of having to turn the handle to accelerate and get into an unstable position, you simply press a lever with your right thumb. A lever for the left thumb is used to brake. This is done with two independent recuperation brakes, which provides even more safety. The folding mechanism is easily operated by foot and allows comfortable folding without having to bend down. With the well arranged display you always have speed, distance, temperature, battery status as well as the different driving programs in view. Front and rear lights as well as the four driving modes (pedestrian, eco, sport, active) can be set with just a few clicks. So you are always on the move at your favourite speed, which can be up to 25 km/h. In addition, the powerful motorization allows even steeper gradients to be mastered without difficulty. Where can I ride an E-scooter? In Germany, e-scooters have not yet been approved for road use. The fact that the e-scooters are not approved for road use is due to the fact that standing scooters cannot legally be clearly classified in one vehicle category. However, the German Bundestag is currently examining the approval for road use, so it can be assumed that a corresponding approval will be available in the course of the year, as in other European countries.
