Highlights of the Jealous 9.0 The ultra-light carbon frame is complemented by the famed FOX 32 Stepcast Factory suspension fork with its posh Kashima coating, convincing soft response and firm settings. Furthermore, on the light Newmen carbon handlebar you can easily lock out the fork with the new push-to-unlock hand gear. When you trigger the Jealous 9.0 with SRAM?s light and solid wide-range XO1 gears, even the steepest climbs no longer pose a threat. Schwalbe?s top tyre combination, Racing Ray and Racing Ralph, revolves on lightweight Newmen SL X.A.25 wheels, convincingly proving, as it has done many a time, that it?s a winner with its excellent radial run-out and a 25mm rim width. When the trail goes into descent mode, Magura?s MT8 brake system calmly and measuredly decelerates despite the astonishingly low weight. With wheels like these, there?s no excuse for not participating in the next race. The Jealous Family Higher, faster, lighter ? that?s the XC battlecry. The JEALOUS recipe for success is: a low centre of gravity, very smooth running, smooth-rolling 29-inch wheels in a super-light and extremely rigid carbon-fibre frame, firm 100mm forks and an efficient drivetrain give you the right set-up for races in which you dictate the pace.
