Quality made in Germany: the Evolution SL J-Bend Disc 6-hole Super Boost Plus Frontwheel-Hub from Newmen As a result, compared to other lightweight hubs Newmens J-bend spoke hubs have ? for example ? up to 50% thicker walls in specific areas to account for extra loads such as braking force. The flange has also been reinforced for extra durability. All components are produced to exact tolerances, while TA (tolerance adjustment) caps deliver additional precision adjustment. The TA caps can be used to adjust all component and assembly tolerances and keep the bearings and hub running smoothly for longer. Revised version with improved user-friendliness – no adjustment of the hubs is necessary anymore.

Both flanges have the same diameter, which adds a few grammes but has the huge added benefit of spreading the braking force more evenly across both sides.
