The running sensor also provides distance and cadence data when used with the FR70 series.

Unlike simple pedometers, this foot pod uses advanced MEMS inertial sensor technology to analyze motion. It also reacts to changes in stride length. Thus, speed and distance can be measured with an accuracy of 98%.
