REX 1.1 INPower Powermeter Crankset

Make every effort count.
How you transfer power off-road will vary as much from the way you ride as to where you ride. INpower REX 1.1 single chainring 1x cranks place power meter technology inside the crank axle where is protected it from loose rocks and other shocks, crashes, and outside contaminants like mud, sand, and clay. If you know your Optimum Chainring Angle, which you can find with INpower’s TORQUE 360 and OCA pedal analysis, you can dial in your oval QX1 rings to your advantage.

CNC-machined in Spain from 7055 aluminum, the INpower REX 1.1 for MTB features unprecedented data sampling technology, which takes into account abrupt changes in terrain like jumps and drops to accurately measure your power output.

Are power meters only for pros?
Cycling intensity is measured in watts (what?s a watt?) ?a watt is a physical unit of energy generated during a certain time period.? Power is a direct measurement of force applied to the crank over time and provides the cyclist?s true output(or wattage). Technology TDS – How we make aluminum cranks lighter
ROTOR?s CNC-machined cranks feature our Trinity Drilling System, which is a process that drills three full-depth holes along the axis of the crank. This allows us to remove excess material from the crank arm resulting in a lighter crank without compromising its exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio.

Get to know your best effort
OCA stands for Optimum Chainring Angle and is one of the proprietary metrics offered by ROTOR INpower and 2INpower. OCA is closely linked to ROTOR Q-Rings, as it helps to find the proper chainring setup. OCA determines the angle in degrees, measured from the upper dead spot (with the cranks perpendicular to the floor) in which the effort barycenter (area enclosed by the torque/force curve) is shown in the TORQUE 360 graph.

Total balance
ROTOR?s Twin Leg Concept boasts the stiffest possible crankset by balancing the cranks? left-to-right stiffness. There is no point in making an ultra-stiff right crank arm if the left crank arm doesn?t measure up. By designing the cranks as a real set ? not just two individual arms, TLC offers the most-balanced cranks possible.

Get ?more? out of your Q-Rings
?MAS? stands for Micro Adjust Spider and means ?more? in Spanish. That?s what this technology is all about: more adjustability to further optimize your Q-Rings. Additional bolt holes allow for intermediate positions between a Q-Ring?s existing Optimum Chainring Positions (OCP). A standard crank and Q-Ring combination offers approximately 5 degrees of OCP adjustment. MAS together with Q-Rings offer half positions of approximately 2.5 degrees of OCP adjustment. This means you can micro adjust the orientation of your Q-Rings to fine-tune your pedal performance.
